Wulff Family

So I know I've been MIA for the last couple of weeks. Jaden and I were terribly sick but now we have recovered and i'm back in business!!

I had a shoot in Seal Beach a few weeks ago for Jeffrey Wulff's 3rd Birthday! They are such a beautiful family and Jeffrey is a little love bug... I had a blast shooting him and the family. It was an absolutely beautiful day and the location was gorgeous, to say the least. I wish every shoot I had could be there! Here are a few photos from the shoot...

Superbowl!

So this year I wasn't really TOO excited about the Superbowl, even though I love football. But after finding out that the Saints had NEVER won a Superbowl, I had to root for them. Yesterday our church hosted a huge Superbowl party and it was a ton of fun. Not only were we able to watch the game on these big screens:

They also had raffles and games. I'm usually the person who buys a bunch of raffle tickets and never wins anything. But this time, they decided to give out raffle tickets, which was SO nice, and on top of that, I WON. An awesome gift:

It's a G-Shock (Baby G) watch! I was SO excited. Literally JUST before the Superbowl started I was telling my mom that I really wanted a white watch. weird. I guess i'm just blessed :)

Anywho, i'm not entirely thrilled that it's Monday. I was really enjoying the weekend. This week is going to be a busy one for me. I have shoots, tons of editing to do, applying for a job (cross your fingers), and many other things... Maybe i'll squeeze a massage in somewhere :)

Beautiful Baby

Ok so I just started this blog and i'm already horrible at keeping it updated!! I have so many different things I want to share, but have difficulty finding the words... I definitely need to get better at this...

Today is the last day of January and I can't believe it!! This year is already flying by. Before I know it, June will be here and Jaden will be 1 already! The last year of my life seriously has been such a blur and I can't help but sit here and wonder where all the time has gone.. I've experienced so much in the last 12 months, from heartache and heartburn to falling in love and shedding baby weight (well trying), the year has definitely made for some crazy experiences. All of it leading up to what this post is really about.

When he was born I thought he was the most beautiful baby i'd EVER seen (i know i'm a little biased!). And today, I still think he's the most beautiful baby i've EVER seen :) So, I decided to enter him in The Most Beautiful Baby contest hosted by Live with Regis and Kelly. The winner receives a 25,000 dollar college fund, a photo shoot with Parenting magazine, a spot on Regis and Kelly, a trip to New York, and other stuff. I'm SO excited and really think he has a chance of winning... We find out this week, so keep your fingers crossed!!




I had a photo shoot at Surfside in Seal Beach today for Jeffrey's 3rd birthday. It was a beautiful place and wish I could do all my shoots there... I'll post photos soon!

First Post!

So, I've been wanting to start a blog for awhile now. Actually since Jaden was born but it's taken me a lot longer than I thought. The past eight months, although hard at times, have been absolutely life changing and unbelievably amazing. Being a mom has brought more joy to my life than I ever thought possible. God has blessed me in more ways than I can count and I couldn't be more thankful.

So this blog is going to be about Jaden and our life mixed with a little of my photography. In addition to being a new mom, i'm starting a new business and am SO excited! It's completely overwhelming but I won't lie, I love the thrill. I'm still working on my website and getting all the legal stuff together, but starting a blog is some sort of progress, right?? I'm not the best writer, but I'm hoping to use this blog not only to keep family, friends, and others updated, but also as something I'm able to look back on later in life.

I'm going to keep this short, but I'll return soon! And because posts are always way more interesting with photos, here's my little man, walking like a big boy...
